Your weight is one thing. How you feel about it is another.

It’s easy to confuse losing weight with a boost of confidence/happiness, but one actually doesn’t CAUSE the other. They might happen simultaneously, but working on your head (and satisfaction with your body) is a whole…

Pineapple-yogurt cheesecake (well,kind of)

I said kinda.Please don’t shoot.

I must say upfront that this dessert has no cream cheese.Or digestives.Or marmalade.Or sugar.Or 500 calories per serving-and for these reasons you can enjoy a laaarge,guilt-free piece anytime!Come on,I’m working for you guys!

You will need:

for the cream:

1 pachage of pineapple jelo (light)

200 grams of 0% fat greek yogurt

450 ml water

150 ml light evaporated milk

for the base:

20 plain, light biscuits (petit beurs of anything of that kind) crushed in large pieces

How to make it:

1.In 300 ml of boiled water, add the jelo and stir well. Then add 150 ml of cold water and 150 ml of evaporated milk and finally the yogurt.Mix until the cream is smooth.

2.Place the crushed biscuits in a small pan.

3.Pur over the cream and let rest in the fridge overnight. The cream will soak the biscuits and create a nice base.Makes 6 large servings of aproximately 170 calories each..Enjoy!;)

Skinny choco-banana brownies

…cause life’s too short to not enjoy both great food and an amazing figure!

I came up with this recipe couple days ago,as I adooore baking.Last year I lost 50 pounds,so it’s needless to say that my life style and attitude towards food changed radicly. However,I found out that certain ingredient and quantity adjustments in ordinary recipes can result to less “guilty” but equally tasty goods! These brownies have a delicate, not so-sweet flavor, plus the choco-banana combo is classic-and for 250 calories per a quite large serving it’s a keeper!

Ingredients:

1 cup of flour

1 cup of low-fat greek yogurt

1 cup of skimmed fresh milk

2 eggs

5 spoonfulls sugar

3 spoonfulls unsweetent cacao

one banana,thinely sliced

some olive oil to grease the pan

How to make it:

1.Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

2.In a large bowl mix all the igredients (except for the banana) until they form a crepe-like mixture.

3.Grease a small pan lighlty and pour in the mixture.Top it with the banana slices.

4.Bake approximately for 1 hour and a half (it usually takes long because the mixture isn’t thick enough). When it comes off the over it might look a bit undercooked but that’s ok.Let cool for half an hour and cut into 6 satisfying pieces…Enjoy!:)
